J-CAP, Inc.is a community based non-profit organization providing a broad range of substance abuse prevention, treatment and related health and social services to southern Queens and New York City residents. Established in the late 1960's, J-CAP is founded on the self-help Therapeutic Community model with highly qualified personnel from all human service fields. Group interaction focuses on development of communications and problem solving skills, and aids the individual toward their highest level of personal achievement. The organization promotes the ideal "You alone can do it...but you cannot do it alone."
